Hydes pubs and employees are celebrating today, following a special awards night held by Hydes Brewery at the the Lowry Theatre in Media City.
Nominated pubs and employees were interviewed during the judging process and the following awards were presented to the winners:
Best Pub Management (Food led): Chris Speight, Hornsmill (Helsby)
Best Pub Management (Drinks led): Dan Strong, Vine Inn (Nantwich)
Best Tenanted Pub: Paul & GillianWhitworth, The Royal Oak (Prestwich)
Best Cask Ales & Cellar: Paul & Alyson Mitchell, Victoria (Withington)
Best Head Chef: David Oldham, The John Millington (Cheadle Hulme)
Best Pub Employee (Food led): Sharon Fogg, The John Millington (Cheadle Hulme)
Best Pub Employee (Drinks led): Euan Christie, The Victoria (Withington)
Best Brewery Employee: Kristina Heath
Congratulations to all of the nominated pubs and employees.
Hydes also raised over £1000 from a charity raffle during the event. Proceeds from the raffle will be donated to Hydes’ chosen charity, the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
