Hydes Pub Wins Industry Award

Building on the success of previous Industry awards another  Hydes Managed pub has won acclaim for the success of its growing business.

The Coach & Four, in Wilmslow, has been named winner of the Best Managed Pub for the North West region in the Great British Pub Awards 2014.

The pub beat off the challenges of numerous sites in the region to claim the prestigious title.

The awards are organised by leading pub industry magazine, the Publican’s Morning Advertiser.

Morning Advertiser editor Rob Willock says: “The award recognises pubs that have increased profits and driven new business in the past year.

“The judges were really impressed with the Coach & Four’s strong sales figures, which are up by a third since its recent refurbishment.”

The Coach & Four  will now go forward to the Great British Pub Awards 2014 national final, held at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London, on Thursday, September 11th. It will go head to head with five other regional winners for the UK title ‘Best Managed Pub 2014’ and also have the opportunity to compete for the overall champions of champions title of ‘Great British Pub of the Year 2014.
